Development, innovation and transfer

One of the great objectives of the center is the transfer of the results of the research that takes place in its laboratories both to the clinical field and to the medical and pharmaceutical industry, through the creation of technological base companies created within the institute itself, that can promote clinical trials and have the capacity to production of medical technology and drugs oriented to the treatment of cerebral damage and pathologies.

Future opportunities

The new spaces that the Cajal Institute will have at the University Campus of the University of Alcalá de Henares complement each other with the location, in the facilities assigned by the UAH and destined for innovation, spin-offs and scientific groups with a clear Translational orientation, including spaces for the provision of services, which will allow developing a business model based on the provision of services to third parties in which the majority of groups and units of the center can be integrated.
