Inauguration of Cajal Neurosciences Center (which will include Cajal Institute) in Alcalá de Henares

In February the 17th, 2025, it was inaugurated Cajal Neurosciences Center (CNC), which will include either Cajal Institute and CINC (Cajal International Neurosciences Center), and which will have its location in Alcalá de Henares (Avenida de León, 1).
To the event, different scientific and public authorities assisted: Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant; Research General Secretary, Eva Ortega; CSIC president, Eloísa del Pino; Cajal Neurosciences and Cajal Institute director, Rosario Moratalla; Alcalá de Henares Mayor, Judith Piqué; Alcalá de Henares University Rector, José Vicente Sanz; as well as researchers, technicians and workers from Cajal Institute and other scientific centers which were invited to the event.

The center aspires to be a reference of Spanish science and international research neurociencies, thanks to many aspects, including its modern equipments and facilities.

It is expected that Cajal Insitute will move its complete activity to this building (which will also be the site for CI2A -Alcalá Interdisciplinary Research Center-, as a services-provided center) along the following months.
