Activity for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2025: Meeting with Neuroscientists

In Cajal Institute, we are celebrating the February 11 ( International Day of Women and Girls in Science). This is the informationr:

-It will be developed in February the 11th at 19h in Seminars Room Washington Buño in our center (Avenida del Dr. Arce, 37, Madrid).

-It will be called “Meeting with Neuroscientists”. Lidia Alonso, Regina Mengual and Guiomar Niso (all them PhD and women) will talk about their experience as scientists: they will talk either about their research and their careers. Later, Cristina Díaz will make a demonstration of an electroencephalogram (EEG: we can even read your brain!). The activity will last around 1.5-2 hours long.

-Availibility depends on the space. We won’t probably have any problem, but if you want to make sure you have a seat, please send an e-mail to comunica@cajal.csic.es.

-For the assistants, we will make a contest to get tickets for participating in our next workshop, ‘Your brain likes chocolate’, which includes chocolate testing.

-We include an image, so you can see the protagonists of the activity.
